2008 Skidoo Renegade 600sdi

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

My objective was to take the somewhat outdated xp chassis and update it enough on a budget to make a decent crossover sled. Also to be able to make the most of the 600 power without going to a larger engine, so that ment shaving weight wherever i could while doing the few performance upgrades i could to the engine. 600sdi upgrades are hard to come by. The chassis on the otherhand was easier as alot of newer xm parts can be applied to the xp makeing for cheaper chassis upgrades

What motivated you to start your project?

What motivated me the most would have to be seeing other builds and how they stood out. I also appreciate something someone has created with there own hands and creativity. Its nice to see something unique and hand built, stock sucks!

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

The most unique thing i would have to say is going to a 146″ tunnel (from a 2012) instead of the 137 and stripping it down  to individual pieces and having it powdercoated to a color called psycho yellow (neon yellow)

What are you most proud of?

Im most proud of how it turned out overall, i made it to the rockies for a week in the spring with it and it worked great. The final product is very rewarding.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

They say that it could probably be seen from space lol
